Jesus Paid The Price For Our Healing

Surely He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for  our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.
  Isaiah 53:4-5 (KJV)

Understanding what Jesus did for you on the cross will help you to connect your faith to God's healing power.

God loves you. He already made provisions for your body long before anybody ever thought you'd ever be around.

That's called a God who loves you, a God who cares, a God who's on your side, a God who wants to make sure you are blessed in everything in your life.

He wants you blessed in the city and blessed in the field. And most importantly, He wants you healed in your body.

Isaiah says, "Surely, he bore your griefs..." The word "griefmeans sickness, disease and pain.

"Sorrow" means pains. In other words, surely he hath borne our sicknesses, diseases and pain.

The word "borne" means to suffer punishment for something.

Jesus took in his body every sickness, every disease, every pain, every  kind of sickness and disease for you and He bore it away for you.

With every stripe Jesus took on His back, He was looking at you.

With every stripe He bore, Jesus was thinking about you, Now that is love.

His name is Jesus. He's the same yesterday, today, and forever.

                                  Paul’s Thorn In The Flesh

The devil has used the traditional teaching of Paul's thorn in the flesh to talk believers out of the blessings of God for years, to try to convince us to settle for everything from sickness to sin--and to do it of our own free will.

It’s the most destructive and the most accepted misinterpretation of Scripture that exists in the Body of Christ. I've gone into countries to preach to people who hardly had any knowledge of the Word and still found that somehow they'd been taught about Paul's thorn.

And most of them have been taught wrong.

Tradition says that God gave Paul the thorn in the flesh. What's more, tradition makes the thorn into some great mystery. But the Scripture doesn't say that at all!
The Scripture is very clear on why and who gave Paul the thorn and what the thorn was. Read it just as it is written.

"And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me."
(2 Corinthians 12:7)

It says that the thorn in the flesh was a messenger of Satan. Not God-- Satan! The thorn was quite literally just what Paul says it was--a "messenger sent from Satan."

Everywhere Paul went, he preached the gospel and every time he preached, he destroyed a little more of Satan's kingdom. So, Satan sent a messenger, an evil spirit, to stop him.

When Paul sought the Lord concerning this thorn ( 2 Corinthians 12:8-10), God didn't answer Paul in the negative. God said, "My grace (or, My favor) is enough. It is sufficient for you. For My strength is made perfect in your weakness (inability to produce results) (W.E. Vine's Expository Dictionary).

When Paul didn't have enough strength to overcome, God's miracle-working power was sufficient for him. It enabled him to be an overcomer in spite of his weakness.

Don't allow the devil to talk you out of your victory. Throw tradition out and dare to believe the Word of God. Fight the good fight of faith, and just like the Apostle Paul, you will see the miracle working power of the Lord show up!

Read it again: 2 Corinthians 12:1-10

I love to say it this way: When my strength fails, the power of God excels!
When I can't, God can!

Speak The Word For Your Children

My children are taught of the Lord, and great is their peace- Isaiah 54:13

As I hunger and thirst for God, He will pour His Spirit upon me and upon my seed and His blessings upon my offspring. They will spring up as the grass, as willows by the water courses- Isaiah 44:2-4

The seed of the righteous shall be delivered- Proverbs 11:21

The Lord will contend with him who contends with me, and He will save my children-Isaiah 49:25

God will bless those who fear Him, both small and great.  The Lord will increase me more and more, me and my children- Psalm 115:13, 14

My seed shall be mighty upon the earth.  The generation of the upright shall be blessed-Psalm 112:2

My offspring will be known among the nations and their descendants among the peoples.  All who see them will recognize and acknowledge that they are the people whom the Lord has blessed- Isaiah 61:9

Salvation and Deliverance For Loved Ones

Jesus said in Mt. 12:29 to first bind the strong man and then enter his house and spoil his goods.

Jesus said in Mt. 9:38 “Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest that he will send forth Laborers into his harvest.”
